Real estate agents in Oregon: what buyers ask
Who pays the real estate agent in Oregon?
Commissions are negotiable and not set by law. Since August 17, 2024, offers of compensation are banned from the MLS and buyers sign a written agreement first.
What must a seller disclose in Oregon?
An Oregon seller of a one-to-four-unit home, condo or similar residence must complete, sign and deliver the statutory disclosure form to every buyer who makes a written offer (ORS 105.465). The buyer then has five business days from delivery to revoke the offer.
