In North Dakota, home inspectors must register with the state (North Dakota Secretary of State); it is a registration, not a full license. You can check a name yourself on Registered home inspectors (PDF list).
Home inspectors in North Dakota: what buyers ask
How much does a home inspection cost?
No federal agency sets or publishes a home inspection price. HUD says FHA performs none, and EPA says fix radon at 4 pCi/L or more.
What must a seller disclose in North Dakota?
A North Dakota seller of a home with no more than four units must give the buyer a written disclosure of material facts before final acceptance of the purchase agreement (N.D.C.C. 47-10-02.1). Since August 1, 2025, a separate radon disclosure is also required.
