Firms

Do you run a firm? Correct, complete or remove its listing

In short

A firm can have its listing corrected, completed or removed at any time, free of charge and without having to give a reason. Removal takes effect within 72 working hours, with written confirmation, and the firm is placed on a permanent exclusion list. The ranking is never paid: none of these steps changes a firm's place outside the public scoring grid.

Correct or complete the listing

  1. Write to gregory@payotte.com from the firm's generic address (info@, contact@…) or the one published on its website, stating the address of the listing.
  2. Say what needs to change: address, telephone, website, title (FCA firm reference number, SRA, CLC or Law Society number, RICS membership or Registered Valuer number, redress scheme membership), date of incorporation, or a piece of data missing from the scoring grid.
  3. A piece of data declared in writing by the firm is published as "declared"; the firm itself is "selected", never "verified".

Listings name no individual, neither manager, nor agent, nor solicitor, nor surveyor: only the company.

Remove the listing

  1. Write to gregory@payotte.com stating the listing and the word "remove". No justification is requested.
  2. We confirm the request by a message sent to the address published on the firm's website. No identity document is requested.
  3. The listing is unpublished within 72 working hours; the place becomes vacant, or goes to the next firm if it reaches the threshold of the grid.

The exclusion list

A removed firm is entered on a permanent exclusion list, by its Companies House company number: it is never surveyed or published again, unless it asks for it in writing itself. We also ask the search engines to deindex the page.
